This giveaway will be open until 10/15. That is 14 days for entries and you have 5 chances to win! Tell your friends, family, random person on the street about this giveaway. If the participants are over 10 people (50 entries total), I will up the ante and throw in something special. So that is two items to the winner just for helping spread the word.
In the comments section, let me know how you entered. I will be checking up on you!
P.S. - I just dropped the prices on all items and Tutus will be added (soon) just in time for Halloween!!
Other than the color being a little different on screen, I think it is excellent dupe for the more expensive Coach shoe. I will absolutely be picking these shoes up since I am in the market for a great red heel.
I just want to give everyone an update to the review I did for Seven Slings. I used it on vacation recently and LOVED it. Sweet P loved it too. Matter a fact, she found it so comfortable that she slept most of the time. I wore it for 3 days and it was really comfortable for me. I did have some minor back pain but that was just from lugging around my 12 lb baby.
When I initially tried on the sling I was a little worried that it was going to be to large. It did shrink after I threw it in the washer and dryer. After that it was prefect and held her snug against me. I wasn't worried about her falling out either. The other plus, it isn't complicated like the moby wrap I have. I was able to get her in an out for breaks and diaper changes with minimal effort. I did need the help of Joe but probably could have done it alone.
To all my mommas and mommas to be (such as myself). I wanted to give
you an accurate review of the products that you might get offered as
“free” from places such as Motherhood Maternity.
The first one I am going to touch base on is Seven Slings.
This is a carrying sling very similar to several other products that
you can get at Target, Walmart, etc. When I saw the offer I thought what
the heck. Even if I don't use it, it is cheaper than buying one from
somewhere else. So I went on their website. I have to admit, it is super
confusing. I tried to do google searched on reviews and how to measure
for it. I found some reviews, mostly negative but nothing showed how you
get the correct sizing. Basically, I had to wing it.
measured from my shoulder to the top of my pants like the website
indicated. The jeans I was wearing a on the low rise side and was
substantially below the top of my hip bone (If you want a picture, just
ask and I will happily forward one). When I did, it actually put me WAY
over their sizing information. I was in the 1X - 2X range (7)
based on the rest of my normal measurements, I would have been in the 4
category. After all the reviews I read that stated this was a little
snug on them, I opted for the larger size. So I placed my order for the
green vibe color. At this point we still don't know what we are having
but I thought it was cute while still being gender neutral.
should warn you, while this product is "free", you do have to pay
shipping which is around $12. Overall, still not a bad deal but I
wouldn't claim it to be "free". My package arrived last weekend and I
immediately tore open the small mailer. I was already warned that it
wasn't large and the $12 shipping was over priced for something the size
of a large envelope. The quality of the material isn't bad but I will
say, it is rather stiff. I am thinking a few washing with a lot of
fabric softener might help. It also has a smell that I wouldn't really
classify as chemical but it isn't all that pleasant. I tried the bad boy
on and surprisingly it fit. Since I don't have a baby to try it out
with, I used a dog. Avery wasn't pleased. It seem comfortable enough but
I needed something a little bigger and more child like to try out.
Enter dog stuffed animal. Again not as squirmy as a baby but it gave me
a better overall fit. I think it will be just fine.
**Seven Slings did not compensate me for this review in any way. Opinions are strictly my own.**
The other day I was wondering the mall with P, using my NY & Co. city cash, when I stumbled into a cute and rather large accesory store. It was Charming Charlie. I had heard of it a couple times an knew that there was one in TX but I had never ventured into it. Until that fateful day.
Let me just tell y'all. I could have walked out with hundreds of my priceless cash spent. Everything was so affordable. Belts for $10. Necklaces for $13. To be honest, it reminded me of Forever 21 but much much better. The quality is really good for the price. I walked out with a few new items and definitely will be going back.
Here is my $30 purchase.
Unfortunately, they don't have a shopable website but here is the link so you can find a store near you.
